• Purix Pectin is probably most recognizable as the ingredient that thickens jellies and jams and gives them that smooth, sticky texture.

• Gives the jelly-like consistency to jams or marmalades, which would otherwise be sweet juices.
• Purix Pectin can also be used as the stabilizer for protein drinks, such as drinking yogurt, and as a fat substitute in baked goods

It is ideal for making excellent tasting jams, marmalades, chutneys and fruit jellies. Simply add to fresh fruit and sugar to make jams, marmalades, chutneys and jellies. Pectin jellies are also heat resistant so they can be served on hot dishes. Our pectin will provide high gel strength, excellent flavour release & a slow setting.
