Earthen Story Gulkand is made from damask rose and dhaga mishri (Rock sugar) with 50% rose petals and 50% rock sugar.
Gul means flower and Kand means sweet, so Gulkand translates to sweet preserve of flowers. Our traditional sun cooked process for making Gulkand helps in retaining nutritional benefits of rose as well as preserves the aroma and taste
Gulkand has a cooling effect on the body and especially beneficial in hot weather. In Ayurvedic texts, Gulkand is tracked as Rasayana which is sanskrit for tonic, which helps in relieving heat related issues such as excessive thirst, fatigue, burning sensation in palms or feet, sun stroke etc. It also helps in treating mouth ulcers.
Gulkand is an ancient Indian digestive recipe which helps in correcting digestive troubles and improves general gut health. Rose extract also contains anti-bacterial properties which helps in preventing infections. Gulkand purifies blood by removing toxins and also helps in sound sleep. Acts as an immunity booster. Recommended for adults as well as kids.
Gulkand can be consumed directly, or by mixing it with milk or water. It can be used as a mouth freshener or as a healthy post meal refreshment.
